Product Description
Propylene Glycol is a clear hygroscopic liquid which comprises asymmetrical carbon atom. It is known to have chemical formula C3H8O2 with molecular weight of 76.10 g/mol and density of 1.036 g/cm3. This chemical compound is widely utilized in preparation of unsaturated polyester resins, thermoset plastics, and polyurethanes. It also serves as humectant, solvent, and preservative in food industry and as aerosolized in atomizer. For extending dry time, Propylene Glycol is utilized in formulation of water based acrylic architectural paints. It is miscible in water, ethanol, and diethyl ether.
